At The Lavender Corner, we honour the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of Australia, the first storytellers and custodians of these lands and waters. Here on the Gold Coast, we respectfully acknowledge the Kombumerri people of the Yugambeh language region, whose Country we gather, connect, and create upon. We pay our deepest respects to Elders past, present, and emerging, and we recognise their unbroken connection to Country, culture, and community. We also acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.Â
